Discover Scuba Diving
Perfect for you if you've never been diving before! Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) is a half day experience, which starts with a short presentation, allows you to become familiar and comfortable with your scuba equipment in a set of useful scuba water skills, and then takes you for a proper open water dive!
Discover Scuba Diving is not a qualification in its own right, but allows you to get a taste of scuba diving. If you love your experience (and we're sure you will!), you can then go on to complete your PADI Open Water Diver course with us!
PADI Open Water Diver
This is the 4 day full PADI certification course. On completion, you will have a diving qualification that is accepted anywhere in the world. The course consists of an in-depth look at dive theory, consisting of videos and reviews with your instructor, scuba skills sessions in shallow water and in deep water, and four open water dives.
You can complete the course, even if you are not a confident swimmer! You will be asked to complete a PADI Medical Statement before you start your course - you can download this here. If you want less classroom time, you can complete PADI eLearning before you arrive on island. Use the following link to sign up, http://www.padi.com/elearning-scuba-registration/default.aspx?irra=20658. You need to pay up front for your eLearning, but if you sign up to do the course using our store link above, we will credit this against the price of your course when it comes to paying your bill.
PADI Advanced Open Water
Dive deeper! Dive longer! Gain new diving experiences with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course. This course consists of 5 dives. All your theory work is done with your instructor, so there are no videos to watch or exams to sit! Two of the dives are prescribed by PADI: the Deep Dive, which takes you down to 30m / 100 ft, and Underwater Navigation. For the other three you can choose from Boat Dive, Drift Dive Wreck Dive, U/W Photography, Fish ID, Night Dive, Search & Recovery and Peak Performance Buoyancy. The Advanced course usually takes 2-3 days.
PADI Rescue Diver
Increase your awareness and safety underwater! The PADI Rescue Diver course is for those who want to challenge themselves and are serious about becoming better divers. The course takes 4 days, during which you will learn about the theory and psychology of diver rescue, hone your self rescue skills, and learn how to help other divers underwater and on the surface.
The Divemaster course is your is your first step on the PADI professional ladder! The course can be completed in just 2 weeks, although we advise allowing a little bit more time for a better experience. During your time with us we will work on you skills until you are really comfortable in the water, complete all necessary PADI assessments, including theory, and get you diving as much as possible! The PADI Divemaster course is available as eLearning, however, we are not able to give you money back on your course, because you are also required to have all the materials, which we will order for you. The membership fee for becoming a Divemaster is payable directly to PADI, and is not included in your course price.
The PADI ReActivate program is recommended for those divers who feel they want to refresh their dive knowledge and skills. The program consists of a dive theory refresher, which is completed online, a scuba skills session, which concentrates on your buoyancy control and self rescue skills, as well as any others you want to refresh, and an open water dive.
Once you have completed your ReActivate sesion, we will inform PADI, and you will receive a new PADI certifcation card in the post.
You can sign up in advance using the link below, or contact us and we will walk you through the process.
